The gordolobo of Mexican markets
This gordolobo is ground leaf, 5 oz of powder, wildcrafted. In the US gordolobo is often sold as mullein, but our bag names a different plant, Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium, which is the gordolobo you find at Mexican markets. The bag states it is leaf only, with no filler mixed in.
Three ways to put it to work are printed on the bag: as a seasoning, as a tea, and as an incense at ceremonies. It gives no measure for any of them, so start with a small spoonful and work up. Powder this fine needs a paper filter or a cloth if it goes into a cup, and a dry spoon every time you dip into the bag.
In YERBERO herbs and teas, Gordolobo molido is filed under G in the herbolario A–Z, next to Hoja de guanábana.
